Centreville man dies in crash on I-94 in Portage

Three Rivers woman transported to hospital

A 46-year-old Centreville man is dead following a crash on I-94 in Portage around noon on Friday.
The man, who was driving a Ford 250, was attempting to change lanes while traveling on eastbound I-94 near exit 76 for Westnedge Avenue when he lost control and struck a guardrail end. Upon striking the guardrail, he was ejected from his vehicle. Emergency personnel attempted to revive him but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pickup truck’s lone passenger, a 34-year-old Three Rivers woman, was transported to Bronson Methodist Hospital with what authorities are calling non life-threatening injuries.
