Community forum held for new TRCS strategic, facilities plans
A sparse but passionate crowd was on hand at the Three Rivers Middle School cafeteria Thursday evening for a community forum on the proposed strategic plan and facilities plan for Three Rivers Community Schools.
The strategic plan for the school district has been in the works since December, and according to Pyramid Leadership’s Jeff Romig, who is heading the creation of the strategic plan, is getting close to completion. The community forum held Thursday is one of the last steps before a final plan presentation to the board in June.
The plan is being crafted by the Strategic Planning Committee, a 29-person group made up of parents, students, teachers, Board of Education members, district administrators and building administrators. The committee gives input about what they want to see a strategic plan look like.
