FFA students compete in districts

CENTREVILLE — St. Joseph County Career and Technical Education Agriscience students participate in the FFA. They had districts on Thursday, Feb. 2, in Centreville, and students placed as follows:  
Ag Issues Team A — first place gold
Members are Mariah Jansen, Andy Rambadt, Andrew Stevens and Jake Troyer of Centreville; Kolton Beachey of Howardsville; Cheyenne Campbell of Mendon; and Mary Ann Houts of Three Rivers.
Ag Issues Team B — third place silver regional alternate
Members are Devyn Begley and Megan Wisk of Constantine; Montanna Eling, Lauren Oke, Kaitlyn Slocum and Joshua Yoder of Mendon; and Josh Turner of Three Rivers.
Jr. High Public Speaking
Josh Troyer of Centreville — second place gold
Domonic Smith of Centreville — fourth place gold
Job Interview
Piper Malcom of Constantine — second place gold
Shawn McNamara of Centreville — seventh place gold
Gaily Peet and Tricia Taylor of Centreville — sixth place silver
Peter Rambadt of Centreville — second place gold
Prepared Public Speaking
Adrianna Jury of Centreville — sixth place gold
Wendi Cripe of Centreville — seventh place gold
First and second place will be competing at regionals on Feb. 16 in Olivet.
