Three seriously injured in crash
The front seat passenger of the Ford pick-up, Tara Scott, 44, was entrapped in the vehicle for a short time
FABIUS TOWNSHIP — Three people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday around 3:27 p.m., according to the Michigan State Police Marshall Post, White Pigeon Detachment.
A 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Lloyd Hagenbuch, 85, of Three Rivers, was southbound on Krull Road when he failed to come to a complete stop at the Gleason Road intersection. His vehicle then crashed into a 1978 Ford pick-up truck being driven by Dayton Smith, 53, of Three Rivers, causing the pick-up truck to roll over.
Hagenbuch was entrapped for a short time, extricated and then transported by Three Rivers Ambulance to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.
Smith was able to crawl out of the pick-up, was transported to Three Rivers Health and then flown to Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.

The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department and Three Rivers Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
