Eagles sail past Lady Falcons

SCHOOLCRAFT — The Constantine girls’ basketball team dropped a 60-28 decision Friday at Schoolcraft in SAC Valley Divisional action.
Mackenzi Dobosiewicz had seven points and three rebounds for Constantine. Paulina Diaz added six points and five rebounds. Lexi Dull chipped in five points, while Hannah Ley had three points. Cassie McNamara had seven steals.
“We just straight up got beat,” said Constantine coach Rachel Schlosser. “They were more disciplined throughout the game and executed better than we did. They outhustled, outplayed us, finished around the rim and knocked down shots. We did not do any of that and learned a lesson because of it.
“We will take what we can away from this and that is we still have a lot of work to do and when there is a lack of effort against a solid team, you’ll learn the hard way. Props to coach (Doug) Flynn and his team for playing an extremely sound all-around game. We will bounce back.”
