Chiefs collect first win

WHITE PIGEON — White Pigeon’s boys’ basketball team finally broke into the win column with a 61-56 win at home over Climax-Scotts Tuesday.
“It was a great team win tonight. I am so proud of the boys. They played together and shared the ball,” said White Pigeon coach Jeff Baechler.
Gavin Kopf led White Pigeon with 18 points, three assists, two steals, a pair of blocks and 11 rebounds. Kam Garten added 14 points, five assists and two steals. Austin Yoder had 12 points, seven assists, two steals and five rebounds. Noah Krull added nine points, six assists, one steal, three blocks and nine rebounds.
