Falcon runners finished third, eighth in SAC Jamboree

SAUGATUCK — Constantine’s boys’ and girls’ cross country teams competed in Wednesday’s SAC Jamboree held at Fenn Valley Winery near Saugatuck.
The Falcons finished third in the boys’ meet with 115 points, while the girls ended up eighth with 196.
Sam Warren led Constantine with a sixth-place time of 18:14.44 in the boys’ race.
Also figuring in the scoring for the Falcons were Jack Jones (20th, 18:57.32), Logan Hofmeister (25th, 19:11.55), Joe Shoup (26th, 19:11.91) and Jacob Derda (42nd, 20:13.83).
Completing the top seven for Constantine were Josh Matthews (44th, 20:16.49) and Jacob DeHaven (45th, 20:19.85).
Allyson Schrock led Constantine’s girls with a 25th-place time of 23:38.49.
Grace Hofmeister (36th, 24:31.24), Lydia Middleton (51st, 26:00.34), Kim Carper (53rd, 26:33.38) and Madison Moen (54th, 26:43.86) rounded out the Lady Falcons’ scoring.
Also finishing in Constantine’s top seven were Allison Henke (57th, 26:52.10) and Megan Herlein (66th, 27:38.59).
