Schoolcraft cruises to shutout win at Gobles

GOBLES — The Schoolcraft Eagles improved to 7-0 with a 42-0 SAC Central Division football win at Gobles Friday.
Terry Haas’ Eagles led 7-0 after the first quarter.
Schoolcraft’s senior quarterback Ricky Clark raced 35 yards for the Eagles’ touchdown. Kameron Snyder added the PAT.
The Eagles added two more scores and extra points in the second period to extend their lead to 21-0 at halftime.
Aaron Lenning scored on an 11-yard dash and Clark struck from one-yard. Snyder was successful on both PATs.
Schoolcraft tacked on 14 points in the third quarter for a commanding 35-0 lead entering the fourth quarter.
Spencer Fox sprinted 28 yards for one of the Eagles’ scores and Clark galloped 65 yards for the other. Snyder booted both PATs.
Schoolcraft’s final score came in the fourth quarter on Ben Crofoot’s seven-yard plunge. Snyder added the PAT.
Clark carried nine times for 192 yards and three TDs. The Eagles’ signal caller completed 6-of-10 passes for 106 yards.
Fox added four rushes for 59 yards.
Schoolcraft ran the ball 27 times for 374 yards.
Defensively, Clark had two tackles and one interception.
Jakob Huysken had 15 tackles and recovered a fumble. Fox added 10 tackles, Mark Phelps seven, while Peyton Hoskins, Riley Piper, Crofoot and Ethan Sharp all had six tackles apiece.

Constantine 48, Fennville 19
FENNVILLE — Constantine’s football team routed host Fennville Friday 48-19 in a SAC Lakeshore Divisional game.
Fennville scored first on a 39-yard run for a 6-0 lead.
Constantine’s Anthony Evilsizor scored from one yard out to put the Falcons up 7-6 after the first quarter.
Michael Reese hauled in a 45-yard TD pass from Falcons’ junior quarterback Nolan Malcom for a 13-6 lead early in the second quarter.
Fennville’s Dakota Latchaw threw a 20-yard TD pass to Justin Schut and the Blackhawks added the PAT to tie the game up at 13-13.
Constantine regained the lead 20-13 heading into halftime on a 51-yard scoring run from Evilsizor and added the PAT.
Constantine, now 5-2 overall, outscored Fennville 28-6 in the second half.
Evilsizor scored from four yards out and Dawson Kiess added a six-yard strike. The Falcons were successful on both PATs for a 34-13 advantage.
Evilsizor added a one-yard TD strike and Hunter Lindbert’s 47-yard scoring run capped the scoring in the fourth for the Falcons. Constantine was successful on both PATs.
Malcom completed 3-of-4 passes for 72 yards and one TD.
Evilsizor rushed 24 times for 170 yards and four TDs. Lindbert added 12 carries for 79. Kiess added eight carries for 62 yards.
Jose Ledesma led Constantine with nine tackles. Corey Anthony and Evilsizor had six tackles each for the Falcons. Jahk Mullendore had five stops and Bryce Corte added four. David Hislop recovered a fumble.
