GOCC runners complete season

LANSING — The Glen Oaks men’s and women’s cross country teams completed their seasons Saturday competing in the Region 12 championships held at Grand Woods Park in Lansing.
All the members of Glen Oaks’ women’s team set their personal best times for the season.
“The Glen Oaks cross country program is excited to build upon the athletes’ improvements over this season into next year,” said Glen Oaks coach Melissa Cramton.
In the women’s race, Carolyn Kirchner, a Three Rivers graduate, ran a personal-best time of 22:35 that earned her 55th place overall for Glen Oaks.
Hannah Carr, a White Pigeon native, finished in 25:46 for 80th place followed by teammate Melina Corona in 88th place with a time of 32:43.
In the men’s race, Glen Oaks was led by Constantine natives Tyler Shank, who ran a 41:07 for 108th place, and Noah Beegle, who took 109th place with a time of 41:14.
