Heading to the college ranks

Kiana Baker, grand daughter of Kenneth and Charlotte Baker of Three Rivers, transferred from South Carolina to Sheyenne West Fargo High School in North Dakota to finish her senior year of high school. Baker is a three-year varsity letter winner in girls’ golf. During her senior season in North Dakota she earned first team All-Eastern North Dakota Conference, first team All-Region at Eastern Region North Dakota Championship, and at the state finals she earned First Team All-State North Dakota. Kiana placed seventh shooting the low round for day two of the meet. She has a 3.8 GPA and has earned an athletic and academic scholarship to play golf for Minnesota Sate University at Moorhead, Minn.
