JV Wildcats hang on to sweep Sturgis

THREE RIVERS — The Three Rivers junior varsity baseball team came away with a doubleheader sweep Tuesday at home over Sturgis 5-4 and 7-6.
Three Rivers improves to 8-5 overall.
Parker Ellifritz started on the mound for Three Rivers facing the first 27 batters, giving up four hits, three walks with four strikeouts. He was relieved by Carter Minger who faced the final three batters.
Three Rivers grabbed a 5-0 lead through six innings.
