Mae and Ken 2-0 in Week 11; Willie B. Wrong successfully defends title

THREE RIVERS — Mae B. Wright and Ken I. Callum both tied for first in Week 11 of our high school football forecast.
Mae and Ken both finished 2-0 on the week correctly predicting Climax-Scotts to defeat Mendon in the Division 8 district championship. Both of them were correct predicting Jackson Lumen Christi to beat Schoolcraft in the Division 6 district championship.
Our other two prep prognosticators, Willie B. Wrong and Ollie The Optimist, were both 1-1 on the week.
Willie and Ollie both predicted Mendon to oust Climax-Scotts, but were correct on their prediction that Jackson Lumen Christi would beat Schoolcraft.
Climax-Scotts defeated Mendon 28-14 and Jackson Lumen Christi topped Schoolcraft 37-34 in overtime.
In the overall standings, Willie B. Wrong successfully defended his title from 2015 by finishing with a final record of 88-16 this season. Ollie The Optimist improved to 86-18 for second place. Mae B. Wright ended the year at 85-19 for third and Ken I. Callum finished fourth at 79-25.
Our panel is looking forward to seeing how our local teams fare in 2017.
