Three Rivers hoopsters brace for cross-county clash against Sturgis

STURGIS — The holidays are over. Temperatures, for at least the time being, are out of the single digit range and there are no travel advisories in effect for this evening.
So why not follow the Three Rivers boys’ and girls; basketball teams over to Sturgis to watch the two Wolverine Conference rivals battle it out on the hardwood in South Division matchups?
Action begins at 4:15 p.m. the junior varsity girls’ game. The girls’ varsity teams tip off at 6 p.m. followed by the varsity boys’ contest around 7:15 p.m.
Here is a look at tonight’s matchups.
Boys’ Game
Three Rivers is coming off an exciting 64-59 non-divisional win on Tuesday over Allegan at home.
The win improved Brian Burg’s Wildcats to 4-2 overall. The ‘Cats are 1-0 in the South Division.
Sturgis, meanwhile, lost its non-division game at home to Paw Paw 64-48 on Tuesday.
Keith Kurowski’s Trojans are now 4-2 overall and 1-1 in the South Division.
