VICKSBURG — The Three Rivers varsity girls’ volleyball team participated in the Wolverine Conference Tournament Saturday at Vicksburg.
Three Rivers entered the tournament as a fourth seed. In its first match, Three Rivers faced No. 5 seed Plainwell and lost 20-25, 25-23, 13-15. Subsequent wins against Dowagiac (25-16, 28-26) and Sturgis (28-26, 25-23) placed the Lady Cats into fifth place in the final conference standings.
Campbell Haradine and Shelby Krawczak led Three Rivers with 18 kills each, while Karsyn Draime and Hadley Miller both added 15 apiece. Maya Bidelman tallied 35 assists with Miller contributing 33.
Tessa Hawkins set the pace defensively for the Lady Cats with 32 digs. Krawczak added 25, Bidelman 21 and Haradine 20.
Miller registered eight blocks and Draime totaled five.
Haradine posted seven service aces.
“The first round loss hurt, but we were able to bounce back with a couple wins,” said Three Rivers coach Erik Kore. “Now it’s time to defend home court Wednesday at Districts.”
Three Rivers ends the regular season with a record of 24-17-4.
Lady Falcons finish 1-1-2 at SAC Tournament
COLOMA — Constantine’s volleyball team finished 1-1-2 on the day Saturday in the Southwestern Athletic Conference Tournament.
