Bulldogs prevail over Lady Cats on Senior Night

THREE RIVERS — The Three Rivers varsity girls' volleyball team dropped a four-set Wolverine Conference match at home Thursday to Vicksburg on Senior Night.
The Lady Cats fell to the Bulldogs 21-25, 18-25, 25-15, 17-25.
Campbell Haradine led the Lady Cats in kills with 10, followed by Shelby Krawczak with nine and Libby Judsen with added eight.
Tessa Hawkins had 34 digs, both Maya Bidelman and Krawczak had 15 and Morgan Schneider chipped in with 12.
Bidelman also led the team with 18 assists, while Darian Cole finished the night with 14.
Krawczak also had three aces from the service line for Three Rivers, now 4-4 in the league and 14-14-4 overall.

Three Rivers JVs bow to Vicksburg
The Three Rivers junior varsity girls' volleyball team fell to Vicksburg 15-25, 25-22, 11-15.
Erin Brady had nine digs, five assists and one ace. Isabella Karle added nine digs, five kills, two blocks and one ace. Jessica Barnes had three kills and three blocks. Alexandria Deel pitched in 16 digs and three kills. Abigail Stephens finished with nine digs and seven assists. Aislyn Sternbergh had six digs, four kills and one ace. Megan Tadajewski had seven digs for the Lady Cats, now 18-13-3.

Lady Cats freshmen fall
The Three Rivers freshman girls' volleyball team lost to Vicksburg 25-22, 17-25, 7-15.
Emma Thatcher led the Three Rivers in serving. Maddie Borst added five kills and Caliah Brown had three kills and two blocks.

Lady Falcons 2-0 in Bloomingdale Quad
BLOOMINGDALE — Constantine’s girls' volleyball team went 2-0 Thursday in the Bloomingdale Quad.
The Lady Falcons defeated Martin 25-16, 25-16 and Bloomingdale 25-6, 25-3.
“The girls played strong tonight, served aggressively and continued our fast tempo game. We are very excited for what the upcoming weeks have to bring,” said Constantine coach Niki Tulley.
Paulina Diaz had eight aces, 10 kills, one block, one assist and 11 digs. Mackenzi Dobosiewicz ended the night with eight kills, one block and 27 digs. Raigan Dumm, Constantine’s setter, had six aces, 32 assists and five digs. Ally Henke contributed four kills, a block and one dig. Hannah Ley finished with one ace, five kills, two blocks and 14 digs. Cassie McNamara had one kill, six assists and two digs.
Also contributing for the Lady Falcons were Madi Platz with 11 digs and Macey Tulley had three aces, 10 kills and 15 digs.

Centreville sweeps Parchment
CENTREVILLE — Centreville’s girls' volleyball team celebrated Senior Night in fine fashion with a sweep of visiting Parchment 25-9, 25-19, 25-7.
It marked the final home match for seniors Hannah Marchand and Skyler DeMeyer.
“Tonight was a bitter sweet victory for me as a coach. I watched two amazing volleyball seniors play their last home game. I’ve been blessed to be able to coach Hannah and Skyler. Tonight was another fabulous performance by our two senior captains and I think it led our team to one of our best performances this season,” said Centreville coach Melissa Gales.
Marchand had 14 assists, 13 kills, 10 digs, two blocks and finished the night hitting .571 to lead Centreville.
DeMeyer added five aces, 11 assists, eight kills and eight digs and served 100 percent. Carlee Odom had one ace, one assist, two kills, two digs, one bock and served 100 percent. Sara Lewis chipped in two aces, one kill and 20 digs. Kayla Jepson finished with one dig and a block.
Also contributing was Kalee Schrock with one ace, 100 percent serving, one assist, three kills, .500 hitting and 15 digs. Carly Todd added one dig. Brittany Morris had five digs. Samara Schlabach had eight kills, four digs, three blocks and finishing .389 in hitting. Logan Jourdan served 100 percent, had one assist, three kills, 13 digs, one block and finished .250 in hitting.
As a team, Centreville served 95 percent, had 28 assists, 38 kills, hit .344 with 78 digs and five blocks.
Centreville competes in the BCS League’s Blue Division Tournament this weekend.

Marcellus 2-0 in Hartford Quad
HARTFORD — Marcellus’ volleyball team finished 2-0 in the Hartford Quad Thursday.
Tony Hooley’s Wildcats beat the host school 25-14, 25-17 and Gobles 25-18, 25-15.
Madison Fisher had 27 assists, three kills, seven digs and one block. Mackenzie Buck had nine kills, two aces and one dig. Brianna Singer 10 kills and three digs. Ellie Holmes added three aces and one dig. Grace Mihills had three kills and one block. Jade Sibley added one assist, three kills, two aces and three digs. Chey Goodenough had four digs. Olivia Wildes chipped in one assist, three aces and 16 digs. Aleyna Hutson contributed 10 kills, two aces and eight digs. Destinee Buck had two aces and one dig.
