Wildcat JV baseball splits twinbill

THREE RIVERS — The Three Rivers junior varsity baseball team split a non-league doubleheader at home Monday with Schoolcraft.
Chad Coney’s Wildcats dropped the opener 9-8 but came back to win the nightcap 9-0.
Three Rivers managed six hits in the opener.
Mitchell Coney belted a double and single and had two RBI for the Cats, now 3-2 overall. Luka Wagner added a double and drove in a pair of runs for Three Rivers. Austin Schrader and Richard Scare each belted a single and had one RBI. Parker Ellifritz added a single and Carter Minger had one RBI for the Cats.
