Wildcat JVs finish season strong in Wolverine Conference Meet
THREE RIVERS – Three Rivers hosted the Wolverine Conference junior varsity track and field championships Monday.
Teams scores were not kept with an emphasis on individual performance.
“It’s always a good feeling to end a season on your best effort and many of the guys who competed turned in personal records in their given events,” said Three Rivers boys’ coach Alex Schmidtendorff.
“They also took pride in running the relays as teammates. They worked hard to be prepared for this meet and preformed well. I was proud of the team and how they approached the meet and competed. Tonight was a building block for what they can accomplish in the future.”
Three Rivers placed fourth in the 800-meter relay (1:46.66), fifth in the 400 relay (51.04) and sixth in the 1600 relay (4:28.11).
