Wildcats look to derail Eddies

TR, Edwardsburg square off again with district title on the line

EDWARDSBURG — A few weeks ago Three Rivers’ football team proved the Edwardsburg Eddies were beatable.
On Friday, Oct. 6, Three Rivers ended Edwardsburg’s 34-game Wolverine Conference winning streak with a 21-18 win over the Eddies at Armstrong Field.
Three Rivers (8-2) attempts to prove its earlier win was no fluke when it meets Edwardsburg (9-1) in a rematch Friday at 7 p.m. on the Eddies’ home turf, Leo Hoffman Stadium.
A Division 4, Region 3, District 1 championship hangs in the balance. The winner advances to the regional finals next week against the survivor between Plainwell (8-2) and Lansing Sexton (7-3).
