WHITE PIGEON — A six-run explosion in the third inning opened the gates for an eventual 10-4 win at home Tuesday by White Pigeon’s baseball team over Eau Claire.
“This was a good victory for us. It was a good way to come back after a tough loss our first game before Spring Break. Hopefully this is the confidence we need moving forward. We put the bat on the ball, played better defense and were aggressive on the bases. It was a more complete game for us,” White Pigeon coach Shawn Minger said.
Minger’s Chiefs added single runs in the fourth and fifth inning, and two more during the sixth.
