Repairing the heart of democracy
"Repairing the Heart of Democracy: An Interactive Program" presented by Christina Cusumano will be held Wednesday, March 15 at 6 p.m. at Glen Oaks Community College, hosted by the St. Joseph County Democratic Party.
Cusumano, a “social artist,” majored in English and education, and after teaching at the secondary level, now focuses on the development of human potential to enhance social change in the world.
Further education includes a master's degree specializing in interdisciplinary studies and instructional design, International Nonviolent Communications Intensive Training, and Matrix Leadership Training.
She, along with others, founded Conflict Resolution in Education and has worked in social and organizational change initiatives and leadership at the University of Chicago and De Paul University; her work centers on creating balance between inner understanding and outward expression.
