Truck collides with home
MARCELLUS — Cass County sheriff’s deputies were called to the intersection of S. Snyder and South streets on Friday, Nov. 11 around 10 p.m. for a single vehicle accident that had collided with a residence.
A 22-year-old Marcellus man was driving southbound on Snyder when he ran the stop at South Street and collided with the residence on the south side of the road. Homeowners and occupants of the residence did not suffer any injuries and refused medical treatment after being checked out on scene. The driver did not suffer any injuries and refused medical treatment.
According to police, alcohol is believed to be a factor in this crash, which is still under investigation. The driver was arrested on scene and lodged at the Cass County Jail.
