Reaction to DDA forced resignation

To the editor:
I was shocked and dismayed to learn of the forced resignation of TRDDA Executive Director Dave Vago. Although I do not know Mr. Vago, I have followed with interest his selection as DDAED and subsequent work in this position.
My opinion of his conduct thus far is favorable. I have read or heard only good things about him. His attendance and/or participation in numerous community events provides ample evidence that Three Rivers means more to him than a paycheck and item on his resume.
If, as I understand, the resignation was approved by a minority of the DDA board members, the action is illegal and should be rescinded.
