Jill Marie (Hostetler) Moran, age 54 of Elkhart, died July 22, 2021 at Parkview Medical Center with family at her side. She was born July 26, 1966 in Elkhart a daughter of Victor and Joyce (Howard) Hostetler. Jill graduated from Constantine High School in 1984 and attended Grand Valley State. On July 13, 2013 she married Phillip Moran II in Elkhart.

Jill had a giving heart and volunteered at the D.A.V. in Elkhart and was former Commander of the D.A.V. Auxilliary. She was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Cubs, Packers and University of Michigan.

Surviving are her Husband Phillip Moran II, Elkhart, mother Joyce Shidaker, Constantine, daughter Courtney (David) Hensel, Mishawaka, son John Anthony Katalinich, Kalamazoo, step children Dustin Moran, Elkhart, James Moran, Cassopolis, Amy (Brian) McDonnell, Cassopolis, Kassandra Benson, Edwardsburg, brother Mark (April) Hostetler, Constantine, brother in law Patrick (Laura) Moran, sister in law Lori Moran, and her dog Willow.

She was preceded in death by her father, step father James Shidaker and her dog Molly.

Per Jill's wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received Friday July 30 from 5-8 p.m. at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Memorial services will be held Saturday July 31 at 11 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Constantine with Pastor Chris Laughlin officiating. A celebration of life luncheon will follow at 1 p.m. at the D.A.V., 1205 Middleton Run Rd., Elkhart. Memorial contributions may be directed to the D.A.V. Auxiliary or Elkhart Humane Society.
